As a new immigrant in Canada, it's always hard for her to find authentic Chinese food in her city, especially her hometown dishes. She dreams a lot about noodles ("mifen"), buns ("baozi"), dumplings ("jiaozi"), mooncakes ("yuebing"), bamboo buns ("zongzi"), and Chinese bread ("youtiao").Bold and brave, she gave up her career to start a new life in a new place. She is trying to fit into a society where everything is new to her. She is willing to conquer all hardships to become a happier person so she can tell people back in her home country that she's living a better life in Canada.
